Virtual Ribbon Cutting Get a preview of the new CFGBA website...

Please join us as we celebrate the unveiling of CFGBA's new web site. Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo has been invited to conduct the Virtual Ribbon Cutting, to be followed by a Virtual
Tour led by Jim Ellis of Signal Design.

The new web site features a significant expansion of resources for the public, including:
  • a lengthy section devoted to residential energy efficiency retrofits
  • retrofit tips on every web page
  • a portal to local ENERGY STAR and green homes for sale
  • a searchable directory of green building professionals and businesses
CFGBA members and the public also will enjoy the benefits of the site's improved functionality. As our Virtual Tour Guide Jim Ellis navigates through the new site, he will offer tips on effective web design, including:
  • techniques for search engine optimization
  • strategies for writing and organizing content
  • interaction with social media
  • effective approaches to layout and graphics
  • and more

You'll take away valuable lessons from a seasoned pro to apply to your company's web site.

Jim Ellis is Director of Business Development for Signal, a 20-year old strategic marketing, creative services and interactive technology agency with offices in Raleigh and Wilmington, NC and Nashville, TN. Signal's team of strategists, designers, writers and technologists work with clients to create effective communication programs that generate tangible results. For more information on Signal, visit signalinc.com.

CFGBA's new web site is made possible by grants from the NC Green Business Fund, ARRA and NC Solar Center.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for exhibits and networking. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. Compimentary refreshments will be served and the Balcony's cash bar will be open. There is no charge to attend this special event, but you must RSVP to jessica.g@cfgba.org.
