DESCRIPTION:http://cfgba.camp9.org/ViewEvent.ashx?eventId=422122\n\nThe City of Wilmington\, New Hanover County and Wilmington MPO have partnered together to complete the Wilmington/New Hanover County Comprehensive Greenway Plan.  This plan will lay the foundation and blueprint for a future greenway/blueway system in New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington. The plan will provide for a collaborative process and will identify funding\, design standards and strategies to implement a greenway network in the community. We are in the process of collecting public input and presenting to various organizations. Staff will present information outlining the scope\, guiding principles and schedule. After the presentation\, there will be an opportunity for general discussion and a map exercise.\n   Presenters will be Amy Beatty\, Superintendent of Recreation and Downtown Services for the City of Wilmington and Mike Kozlosky\, Executive Director of the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization.\n   Details about the plan\, public comment form and interactive map can be found on the project website at http://www.wilmingtongreenway.com/ and the plan can also be followed on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/greenwayplan.\n
